Almighty God of our ancestors, You chose Africa as the birthplace of the human race, And the home for the Holy Family and the Word made Flesh Your people in the land of Africa continue today to welcome the message of the Gospel, And to seek you and respond to your call to be a family of God.

We give you thanks for bringing us together as members of the Pan-African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network, And for the great work you continue to do in our midst. We humbly ask you to dwell in us and be with us, So that we may do your will.

May your love continue to guide everything we do together as members of this network. May your Spirit of wisdom enlighten our minds to the truth and joy of the Gospel. May the example of your Son, Jesus Christ, move our hearts to embrace this collective service, With docile hearts, and gentle and humble spirits.

If this be your will, O God, May this community of practitioners convoked under your name, And consecrated under the protection of the Mother of your Son, endure May it be a living testimony to what is possible in our continent, When we open ourselves to your grace, listen to you and to one another, And build on the rich faith, and diverse assets and resources with which you continue to bless the African Motherland.

Grant us the grace we need to commit ourselves always to the cause of the Gospel. May we work together in advancing the Mission of the Church in Africa
Especially in serving the poor and those who are suffering in our continent. Give us the faith to know you more and more each day.

Grant us the courage to work daily for the transformation of Africa And work humbly with our people so that we may experience your abundant life. We put all our trust and hope in you, the God who makes all things possible through Christ our Lord,
