Sr. Leonida is a Member of The Sisters of St. Joseph Mombasa Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy and Theology from Cuea, Licentiate in Sacred Liturgy and PhD from Pontifical Atheneum of St. Anselm, Rome. Leonida is also a holder of LL.B from the Faculty of Law, Catholic University of Eastern Africa, LLM (UoN) and a Diploma in Law from The Kenya School of Law. Currently pursuing her PhD in Laws at UoN. Leonida is a Certified Professional Mediator and Lectures at Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a visiting lecturer at the Tangaza University College, Chemchemi ya Uzima and a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She majors on property law and family law.Also she is involved in various pro-bono services.
